“Creative Dimensions DJ Workshop” a unique multilevel initiative imagined and developed by Joseph “DJ Dimension’ Mercado that inspires youth to BE MEGA by utilizing dj turntables, comic book art, music production as tools resulting in positive social interactions and personal growth through motivational workshop / classroom settings, community events and guest speaker engagements.

 

Community partners include Creative Dimensions DJ Workshops at Boys & Girls Club of The Valley, Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community,  Free Arts of AZ , PlayWorks : Youth Leadership Conference 2023,  G Road at Emerson School #1, Empower College Prep and featured on Fox 10 AZ/ AM News as part COX Innovations Lab Launch at Boys & Girls Club Harry & Sandy Rosenzweig Branch . Most recently we have been recipients of the “Full STEAM Ahead” (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) Grant expanding learning opportunities for community members of all ages at Glendale Public Library locations.

More about: Joseph “DJ Dimension’ Mercado the creator of ndmdigital specializing in multimedia from music production, record label , DJ services, licensing and comic book publication. He was raised in South Bronx & East Harlem and during the late 90s to early 2000's he made a heavy impact in the NYC Dance music scene as part of turntablist duo Megamen pioneering live stream DJ performances called the ‘Ghetto Soul Sessions’ resulting in global attention with appearances on MTV2 , Telemundo (The Roof) and Virgin Mega store in Times Square NYC.

During the summer of 2003 the bright light of this rising Electronic Music star was dimmed when he suffered a near death experience that changed the course of his life. Soon after his injury he relocated to Phoenix, Arizona where he started working with at-risk teenagers. By 2019 Joseph “DJ Dimension’ Mercado began to creatively mesh his life experiences into inspiration by encouraging others to find their own inner superhero through music, art, music, connection and collaboration taking the first step into the vision with the power of meditation, prayer and visualization he began to develop on this creative concept that he would use to share his triumphant story and spread hope with the world.
