About the event
🎧Creative Dimensions Online DJ Experience is a fun, beginner-friendly introduction to DJing for ages 8–16.
Facilitated by Joseph “DJ Dimension” Mercado, Creative Dimensions DJ Workshop is an interactive program that sparks creativity, builds confidence, and encourages self-expression through music and technology. Since 2021, the workshop has partnered with Boys & Girls Clubs, Art Heals of AZ, group homes, after-school programs across the Phoenix area, and has also reached students online throughout the world on Outschool inspiring youth to
BE MEGA — Motivated, Empowered, Grateful, Artistic.
Students are introduced to mixing, scratching, and basic music concepts while building confidence and a love for DJing.
The class is designed for first-time DJs, with simple demonstrations and opportunities for everyone to follow along, participate, and ask questions throughout the session.
No previous DJ experience is needed, and no DJ equipment is required to participate. Just a compatible device with the DJAY Pro app installed.
